The Master Degree in Photovoltaic Solar Energy of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) is a postgraduate initiative built up from three different institutions:
- The Instituto de Energía Solar (IES-UPM) is the research centre where the Master course takes place. Teaching and academic matters are managed also at IES-UPM. Educational activities, and more specifically those related to laboratory practices, will be carried out at the IES-UPM facilities.
- IES-UPM is allocated within the Campus of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación (Avenida Complutense 30, 28040 – Madrid). This School is one of the 21 centers belonging to the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, dealing with some of the administrative issues, and accommodating the classes where theoretical lessons take place.
- The Rectorate of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, dealing with general administrative aspects.
