Quality control of large PV plants
The research line about quality control of PV plants aims at reducing the uncertainty in the estimation of the productivity in order to reduce the uncertainty in the results of the commissioning tests and to check the state of health of the PV plant, diagnosing the cause of any problem affecting its performance. This research line is supported by a strong experimental background and is the result of the collaboration between the IES-UPM and the PV business sector in the quality control in more than 70 PV plants with a total power of more than 300 MW.
